AVIGNONESI VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO D.O.C.G. 2018

ABOUT THE VINEYARD
The Avignonesi family are founders of this original estate and winery.

Constant research and development aimed to express the intrinsic character of the Montepulciano terroir resulting in the winery being among the flagship producers of Tuscany.

In 2009, Avignonesi was acquired by Virginie Saverys who has since introduced organic and biodynamic farming methods to craft distinct genuine wines with even stronger character from additional vineyards and state-of-the-art winemaking facility in the Montepulciano appellation.

We believe Earth life forces and the uniqueness of the terroir are at the heart of our brand.

Avignonesi is reborn from the soul of our vineyards with each vintage in the richness beauty and heritage of the Montepulciano territory where Sangiovese wines have been produced for centuries.

We wish to contribute to its future by being the best representative of its heritage that we can be.

This wine is made with Sangiovese grapes highlighting the balanced and harmonious traits of its habitat. The wine shows a sleek medium body, seamless tannins and a distinctive tasting profile. Great for the 'now' it reveals an impressive ageing potential.

2018 Vintage
This great vintage is reflected in abundant and healthy bunches that have filled our organic vineyards. A warm spring kicked off what turned out to be an exciting year. The grapes benefited from a mild summer with occasional showers, allowing them to reach perfect ripeness.
